Nació en Medellín Colombia. Oct. 18 1938. realizó estudios de Arte en la Casa de la Cultura, Instituto de Bellas Artes, Instituto Artes Plásticas de Medellín, con los Maestros: Ramón Vásquez, Francisco Morales, José Horacio Betancur y Rafael Sáenz.
